The Short Version
ZyoKit is designed so that your photos never leave your device. When you upload an image to add a timestamp or crop it, that image is decoded and processed entirely inside your web browser using standard browser technology (the HTML5 Canvas API). We do not receive, store, view, or transmit your photos to any server, and we do not require an account to use the tools.
Image Processing
All timestamp and crop editing happens locally, in memory, within your browser tab. Uploaded images are referenced using a temporary local object URL that exists only for your current browsing session and is discarded when you close or refresh the page, or click "Start Over." At no point does the site send your image data to our servers or to any third party as part of the editing process.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your photos, do not require registration, and do not ask for personal information to use the Timestamp or Crop tools. We do not track what images you edit or store any record of your editing sessions.
Cookies and Analytics
This site may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, which pages are visited and how often) so we can improve the site. Such analytics, where used, do not have access to your uploaded photos, which never leave your browser. If we enable Google Analytics or a similar service, it may use cookies or similar technologies to collect anonymized usage statistics such as browser type, approximate location (city/country level), and pages visited.
Advertising
We intend to display advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this site. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses data and opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings and the "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page. Advertising on this site is limited to clearly separated ad spaces and never appears inside the image editor itself.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
